The ultimate for off-loading lesions of the foot to permit healing of diabetic foot ulcers and infections. The deep rocker sole contains four layers of differing density insoles that may be altered for off-loading. Leather upper lined with Plastazote® material. Sections may be removed from the leather upper without disturbing the liner to remove pressure.

HeelWedge Shoe
The HeelWedge™ off-loads the heel by shifting weight to the midfoot to promote faster healing after surgery, trauma, or when wounds are present on the heel. The square toe design provides more room in the toe box for a better fit. The modified rocker bottom encourages a smooth toe-off while maintaining a stable mid-foot base. Unique forefoot closure provides uniform security without the pressure points of buckles and straps and the cloth toe protector keeps toes warm and dressings clean and dry. The ankle strap seats the foot firmly in the sole and eliminates heel friction.

OrthoWedge Shoe
The OrthoWedge Shoe has been clinically proven to effectively reduce weight bearing pressure from the forefoot to promote proper healing.

Medical Surgical Shoe
The Med-Surg Shoe’s strapless forefoot closure eliminates buckle pressure on the forefoot and can expand to accommodate dressings up to 17" in circumference.

Peg-Assist System
The Darco Peg-Assist System is built around a multi-purpose removable peg insole that effectively off-loads the plantar aspect of the foot.
