Founded in 1992
Arising from the need for a local full-service Orthotic & Bracing clinic in the rapidly growing Metrotown area, Founder Pamela Gardner opened the doors to Burnaby Orthopaedic Source Inc.
Centrally Located
in the heart of downtown Burnaby, Burnaby Orthopaedic & Mastectomy is easily accessible by vehicle, transit, and Handy Dart. We are currently beside Metrotown Mall on the corner of Bennet Street and Nelson Avenue, across the street from the original Kingsway location. With the loyal support of numerous healthcare practitioners in the area, and many returning clients, Burnaby Orthopaedic & Mastectomy has grown from a one-person origin to a thriving company ready to help you with your recovery needs.

The Community
Along with the many diverse products we carry and services we provide at our location, we are able to provide a mobile service, when required by our clients, or at the request of a nursing home or home care nurses.

Meet Our Team
Consist of Certified Pedorthist, Bracing Specialist & Mastectomy Fitter
Charles was first a practicum student in 2013. He then graduated from SFU with his Biomedical Physiology – Kinesiology degree in 2014 and joined the team full time, obtaining his Canadian Pedorthic certification in 2017. In 2022, he obtained the business to expand on Pamela’s legacy. With his strong engineering background and sound aptitude in the lab, Charles brings a creative and sound technical background to the team. There is no orthotic challenge this critical thinker can’t solve.
Outside the clinic this avid outdoors man also enjoys all sports, especially golf and boxing, and promoting a healthy active lifestyle.
Monika began working with Burnaby Orthopaedic & Mastectomy in 2019. Certified to measure for both post Mastectomy and compression garments, Monika offers a friendly and professional assessment. She is always willing to spend the time to fit you with the best garment for your needs and comfort.
When not in the office, she enjoys time in her garden and with her grandchildren.
